Transcript

Many years in the future… in the dystopian city of Los Angeles…

One man is struck down by one killer, but who could it be?

What do they have?
One pendant, two knives, and unidentified fingerprints. Let’s see what June has deduced so far.

We know that Day’s fingerprints are all over the evidence, but they don’t match a person on our files. We are going to have to think harder. We know Day broke into the laboratory for medicine as part of a desperate, last-minute, poorly thought-out plan. He obviously doesn’t have the plague, but someone else he knows must, someone he cares enough about to risk his life for. Someone from the recently affected areas. Day, wherever you are “I will hunt you down. I will scour the streets of Los Angeles for you. Search every street in the Republic if I have to. I will trick you and deceive you, lie, cheat and steal to find you, tempt you out of your hiding place, and chase you until you have nowhere else to run. I make you this promise: your life is mine.

Who’s involved?
Two siblings—Metias, the former captain- murdered
Junebug, smartest person in the Republic, now promoted to detective of this case
Day, most wanted criminal with a family in need, now suspected of murder

Let’s take this to the public…

What do you think will happen?
I think June will going hunting for Day and will meet eventually him, but won’t know who he is. They will most likely fall in love with each other and decide to run away together. However, I think that June will tell Day that she is trying to avenge his brother’s death and when Day realizes whom she is talking about, he will try to separate and when June realizes his sudden detachment, she will realize her mistake and capture him, thus ending the story.

Now, what do you think?
Honestly, judging by the plot so far, I think that June will hunt down Day, capture him, and kill him. After his death, those who supported his actions in his sector will rise up against the Republic. This will cause the fall of its control. Maybe, a unified country will form with the Colonies.

Lastly, what do you think?
I think that June will be attacked by a group of guys, and Day will save her from this assault, but won’t know who she is. June will keep trying to hunt for Day and will finally confront him. However, when they meet, they will recognize each other, and Day will say, “After saving your life, this is how you treat me! How can you do that?” He will continue to taunt her, but she will persist, until finally, she releases him with a promise, “I found you once, I’ll find you again, and next time, I won’t let you off so easy.” Then, the book will end and be ready for the sequel.
